Stairs and Elevators - Heartless Bastards
I was listening to NPR this morning and heard a clip of this band. I like classic rock, and music with some edge to it. It’s not easy to find lead women in bands like those. I like the garage sound that Heartless Bastards has. It sounded pretty good online, so I ordered it.

A Place Unseen - Benny Mao
I was a groomsman in Edward & Eunice’s wedding this past Saturday. Ed’s a part of Exodus Worship (he wrote and sang “Holy Sacrifice”), and he was also my foosball partner at Fuller. We ditched many a chapel service to work on our foosball skills. With me as a groomsman was Benny Mao. Benny told me that he’s working on the second Exodus album. On a whim I linked over to Exodus Worship and then to Benny’s site and bought his solo album.
