Shaking my Head
January 5th, 2006Sometimes it’s embarrassing to call myself a Christian, maybe Christ follower or believer in Jesus is what I’ll call myself from now on. I’ll say no more, or else I’ll be getting myself in trouble by not so accidentally flaming some people that really shouldn’t say what they do in the name of Jesus. Yikes! Some people think that they can pass judgment like they’re God. I have two questions for them - 1. Where’s the grace and love? and 2. Have you read Matthew 7:1-6 lately? Ok, I need to stop now, or this is going to become a serious rant. Damn, I’m working myself up into a right hissy fit! SEE, ARG, now I’m passing judgment. Does the vicious cycle never end? Sorry, I love you Pat Robertson. You’re my hero. I think you should rename your “Christian Coalition” to “FootinMouth Coalition”. But the way I see it when the Bible says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged”, that means to me, “what comes around goes around.” I’ll leave it to God to judge you. Oh MAN. I gotta stop. Good thing I’m not a full time pastor anymore. I can say stuff like this and not worry about it too much. I can be honest without the fear of being judged. THERE IT IS AGAIN! How do I stop the INSANITY???? Where my rant began: Robertson suggests God smote Sharon.

President Bush was none too happy about Mr. Robertson’s statement either: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4589270.stm

HAHAHAHA…. i can almost see you ’shaking your head’ while reading it…
but i agree it w. you. who made him the “judge’ of another person’s life?!
however, I think it’s ok to have the judement on what we think is right & wrong. As long as we don’t impose our judgement on them. actually i still remember something you told me a long time ago, “to earn the right to be heard” when I was asking you about teach or correct the youth?! it has a lot of wisdom… and it has been a very good reminder for me not to impose my judgement on people who I don’t have right to ‘lecture’ thanks!
