Here’s an email that my friend Keith sent out about our new group. It’s called Renovation Church (The site’s under construction, so looks a little funky), and for those like me who shy away from the “church” part we call it Renovation Community or just RenCom. We’re building a Kingdom focused community (if you know what that means, hehe) that can cross church borders. For example, I’m still a member of Newsong for now, and in theory it doesn’t clash! Our first pre-launch large group gathering is this Sunday.

Wanted to remind you about RenCom’s first launch team gathering this Sunday at 4 PM.

I’m very excited for this first sneak preview/warm-up in preparation for Easter.

We’ll be doing some worship, teaching, and sharing with you how we see God at work; and also will want to hear from you. Come ready to share your thoughts and ideas. Also feel free to bring along anyone else you think might want to check us out.

WHEN?
4:00 gathering for music, teaching, and sharing
5:30 serving up food and drinks (for those who want to stick around)

WHERE?
We’re meeting at a place called The CENTER, located at 1809 E. Dyer, suite #304 of the 1809 building (in the back of the complex), Santa Ana, CA 92705

NEEDS?
We’d love to have you help us create our first gathering. We could use people who want to help with set-up, clean-up, greeting, programming, tech, food, care, prayer, or anything else you can think of. Just let me know and I’ll connect you up.
