April 28th, 2007They’re one week old. Yes, they now look like mosquito larvae, but actually if you look closely they look more like tiny shrimp. I keep telling my kids that we’ll eat them (like I did with every other pet we’ve had), but they get mad at me, so maybe I should stop telling them that!

Very Cool. I’ll be hatching up a few batches in the next month here myself.
Best of luck with ‘em. They are pretty easy to keep. Watch not to over feed and keep the temperature steady around 72 degrees, they should do fine.
