Renovation Church

Last night was our second monthly gathering for Renovation Church - a church of house churches. Right now we have three house churches going. And I’m sure we’ll have more soon. Micah asked if we could start one at our house. I was shocked. We’ll see. Gotta give it more time. The large group gathering was great. The first Renovation gathering last month (Easter) was more hype and getting the word out. This time was a gathering of our house churches and talking about what’s been going on in each group. It felt more like a celebration of the past month and anticipation for the future. It was down to earth and personal.

I’m a part of what we call Pancake Church. We meet at Keith & Gina’s on Sunday morning, and it’s a family oriented gathering. And as the name says, we eat pancakes. We’re working out how best to have the whole family involved in the meeting. It’s getting smoother each time. This Sunday will be my first time teaching! I’m excited and nervous, because I haven’t done anything like this in a long time.
