Work BBQ

Emmanuel and I, along with the managers at VIVA/Westar have been talking about building up community. Here’s our first event of the summer. We had each department bring something, and the main course was provided by the company. It looked like around 50-60 staff showed up for our bbq. It was great to see everyone participate in getting the lunch going. Usually at a company lunch, we cater food or go to a restaurant, and almost everyone is a passive participant. But this time was different. Almost everyone did something, and Emmanuel and I got to bbq, which is always fun! Someone in our company makes a killer salsa. I gotta find out who.
