Listening – So Much More

I’m more of a classic rock guy, so there isn’t much “new” music that gets me interested. Put on some Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, or even some Simon and Garfunkel and I’m happy. Only Cold Play has really caught my interest (that I can think of at the moment) other than U2 in this millennium. I’ve been listening to So Much More by Brett Dennen the last few weeks, and I’m enjoying his sound. It’s so fun and down to earth. It’s got a funky folksy vibe. He’s got some serious skill on an acoustic guitar, and has a great instrument mix going on. Be warned; his lyrics can be politically controversial and uncomfortably raw.
