Medieval Times

To celebrate Toby’s 5th birthday we headed over to Medieval Times. The kids had an absolute blast. Me..not so much. First our waiter was slow. It’s hard to be sitting around an arena and seeing everyone around us getting soup then main courses, while our table was still waiting to get drinks. However, the main reason I was hurting was because of my severe horse allergies. I didn’t realize how close we would be to the actual show, and I didn’t realize how many horses there would be. After an hour, I had to escape with my life. I think if I had stayed 20 more minutes I would’ve ended up sticking myself with an epi pen (Cindy was prepared) and calling 911. It felt like someone was stuffing my chest full of foam insulation. At least I had my laptop in the car, so I waited out the final 45 minutes happy as a clam, although wheezing like an old man.
Next, we’ll have to try out the Pirates dinner theater right next to Medieval Times. I keep hearing how good that one is.

Cute picture. Yikes, I didn’t know people could be allergic to horses! That’s a bummer. I know I won’t be going near a horse anytime soon. Maureen and I went horseback riding last week and I was in pain for 3 days. Out of the 30+ horses, mine was the worst behaved and tried to throw me off several times. The other riders were laughing at me but at the same time, also feeling sad for what I had to endure. Happy Bday Toby!
