San Diego Zoo

My family with my brother Zeke (aka Ezekiel) went down to San Diego for another mini-vacation. Cindy had an Occupational Therapy conference down there on Friday & Saturday, so we met her on Saturday night to Monday. On Sunday we went to the zoo. I bet it’s fairly easy to tell which animal above was Cindy’s favorite and which was mine. Come to think of it, both of them were lounging around, but the meerkats were totally loafing, posing and watching us.

I figured that since Zeke has a learning disability, that we could make good use of the seats! Call me an opportunist, but hey, no one else was sitting in them, and they didn’t say what kind of disability… Zeke actually thought it was a great idea, hehe.

We were waiting for some animal show to start, and Cindy was taking some pictures. This is a pretty typical posed picture for the boys and I.

The gratuitous shot at the front of the zoo. If you notice, once again the boys can’t just smile. Most people have to tell people that a picture is a “goofy” picture, but for my kids, we have to specify when they are supposed to make normal smiles.

On Monday we went to Seaworld, but since we go here so often we didn’t take any pictures. We also blanked on taking pictures of our hotel room (Embassy Suites, La Jolla).
