STT Burns

What a horrible week to live in Southern California. Since I live in the middle of Irvine, I was safe from the fires, although the air quality reminds me of New Years Day in Manila after a full night of firecrackers. There were a few friends and family that had some close calls, but so far everyone’s safe. Emmanuel just informed me that one of our favorite mountain bike trails, Santiago Truck Trail, is burning. We rode here on Sunday afternoon less than two hours before the Santiago fire was reported. At least we got one last ride in for the year. Sad day. :(
