DIY Weekend

I’ve had a couple ideas going ’round my brain that I finally acted on. First, I bought a couple paper trays and hardware, and with the help of many zip ties, I hung up all the wires underneath our workstation. I love having the four computers all down in our living room. It takes up alot of room and is kind of an eye sore, but this way we’re pretty much physically together when at home, because wherever my computer is, there I is. And of course Cindy and the kids have their computers too!

Isn’t it beautiful? You’d be grossed out at all the dust that covered my clothes and hair after I finished installing the trays.

And today after running on the treadmill, I finally made the tv stand to watch shows while running on the treadmill. I’ve been wanting to do this for years, but it only came to me today to use PVC rather than wood, which is significantly easier to put together and adjust. Haven’t tried it yet, but hope to do so tomorrow!

    Thanks, it was fun to do. I’ve now added yet another power strip, so that makes four strips down there… How is it that I can run 4 power strips out of one outlet, but when I try to run two hot pots (Chinese family style meal), the breaker goes?

    Very nice! I really like the PVC tv stand. My next home project is tiling the bathroom and hardwood floor in the living room! Wish me luck.
